From 1993 I started with the abstract process, it wich arrived since at the moment.
I think that all artwork, it is figurative or abstract, objetual or conceptual, and without mattering what the artist looks for to say, the work in itself transmits another thing who escapes to the author, does not concern whatever to say the author,
is not known exactly what is going to perceive the receiver.
This matter in the artwork I seem is very good and I believe is part of the unspeakable thing in the art.
Perhaps this is the unconscious justification that always I had not to occupy me in the speech in my work but to do them only.
"To do them" my motivation is to work with the basic elements of bidimensional artwork : lines, forms, textures, colors, and the problems that there are to solve when these elements are going to coexist in the bidimensional universe: painting, collage, drawing.
Generally I start doing collages, later I take the main compositional characteristic from them and I make drawings, soon I mix these drawings and I make other drawings more complicated or simpler. With results of them I make the structure of paintings, where I had left to solve the textures and color.
When some painting are not well?... I cut it and I have got material for new collages.

In both last years the sequence is not so linear, but always the three stages are present in my work: paintings, collages and drawings.
The goal problem to solve for me in each of those three states of my work is:
the balance of elements, the harmony, the diversity and the change in the image.
Each of them is important, but I believe that the changes it is the most important because the "change" in the image reflect that my mind change, my points of view change… and that is essentially vital, because in the life always something is changing. (Maria Parmo)
